I’m Aimee, a documentary photographer, born and bred in South London. I live with my husband and our son in a quaint little village just outside of the capital, where I juggle my job, motherhood and all the other perils of being a twenty-something! I’m creative, geeky and a homebody, with a penchant for a good cup of tea and a slice of homemade cake.

AimeeMarie.com has been a part of my life since 2005 and over time, it’s evolved into not only a home for my photography portfolio, but also an online scrapbook of the things I like, see and do. All of the things I love and enjoy that are a part of my life, are talked about here! I pigeonhole my blog under the lifestyle umbrella, because I like to write about anything / everything and can’t decide which topic to stick to— one day it’s about baby-poo, then the next I’m sharing a recipe and by the end of the week, I’m talking lipsticks! I’m a bit of an oversharer, which means you can read about my wedding, my pregnancy and the birth of my son, too!
