It’s two weeks today until we go on our first UK break since having Byron, to Cornwall. I’m looking forward to it (despite the current British weather!), if only to just get away and spend some quality time together. I’m hoping we’ll get a bit of sunshine, but I’m not counting on it!
I saw a competition recently to style an outfit from the current Next maternity / childrenswear range, with a fantastic prize of £500 to spend at Next. With our holiday in mind, I decided to base my outfits on the ‘great’ (I use the term loosely!) British seaside!

Fluorescent Trim Rib Waist Jeans • Stone Twill Dungarees • Green Polo Body • Blue and Yellow Check Shirt Body
Orange Espadrilles • Fluorescent Monkey Socks • Tan Gladiator Pram Sandals • Navy and grey slim fit joggers • Shorts • Grey Boat Pram Shoes
I hadn’t realised how awesome their childrenswear is actually, until browsing their website this week— because I don’t shop there for myself, it’s not somewhere I always think of going. I love that so much of it is based on the same colours and tones, so you can mix’n'match, which is great if they only stain one part of their clothing, as they don’t require a whole outfit change! Byron has recently progressed from 0-3mth clothing to 3-6mths, and while we have lots of clothes that will fit him now, he’ll be in dire need of bigger clothes in just a month! Ah, they grow up so fast, eh?! I’ve not bought much from Next for Byron myself, but my mum has bought loads and it’s such good quality! They always have adorable prints and illustrations on their clothes too, and I love dressing Byron up as a little man sometimes, rather than a baby!
That said, he does need some lovely sleepsuits for bedtime.

Green jersey romper • Mummy sleepsuit • Bright car sleepsuits
I could easily spend £500 on Byron!

Very cute!
Thank you! (And sorry for the late reply!)
