When I was contacted about trying the new Dove Spa Beauty Supplement, I was also offered a treatment of my choice at one of the Dove Spas. No strings attached, no small print, not on the premise that I would write about it. No. Just a complementary, “hey, go and relax!” treatment. I had such great service though, that I wanted to share! I chose to have an aromatherapy massage and after many emails back and forth (they got booked up very quickly, but I took this as a good sign!), I was set to go to their branch in Reigate.
I arrived at the spa a few minutes early and saw that the interior was everything you’d expect from a salon – clean, white, crisp and shelves stacked full of beauty products. I filled out the obligatory health questionnaire, after being greeted by Melissa and being offered an array of beverages! My therapist, Kirsty, came to meet me shortly after and checked over my form, before whisking me upstairs to get started.

She was brilliant at explaining everything that was going to happen, which is great if you’ve never had a massage before— it’s all too easy to be left to get changed and wonder what the hell you’re meant to be doing.
I’ve only ever had a back, neck and shoulders massage before, so aromatherapy was something new to me. I was talked through the different essential oils to choose from and decided on Muscle Ease, which smelt divine— ginger and lemongrass!— and sounded like it would do the trick. The actual massage was amazing and Kirsty got rid of a lot of tension on my shoulder blades that I didn’t even realise I had! I’ll definitely be recommending it to my friends and family, for the great customer service and the excellent massage! It’s great to have an accessible spa sitting on the high street, rather than in a swanky, overpriced hotel in town.
An hour well spent!
