Aah! I’ve been so tired and living life in joggers and baggy tees, sporting unwashed hair and overgrown ‘brows, with a make-upless face. It’s been pretty (horrific.)
I’m going to be 14 weeks in a few days and I’m so happy the first trimester is over— not only because it means we can share our good news, but because hopefully I’ll be back to some relative normality very soon with any luck, albeit for a short while! The last few months have had me on a routine of sleep > eat > vomit— & repeat 24/7! I had no idea that you could be so tired within these early stages. It can be so hard to comprehend the lack of energy when there’s no extra weight to be lugged around (yet!) Oh, hormones! Luckily my husband has been very supportive and is literally waiting on me hand and foot.
As well as a lack of energy I’ve been suffering with:
a heightened sense of smell
an aversion to chocolate(!!!) & other foods
an intolerance to drinking more than a couple of sips at a time
…and lots more to come & go, I’m sure. I’m most definitely not complaining though! It’s going to be totally worth it.
