It was a month ago today that I became Mrs Scott; the Mrs; a wife; the ol’ ball & chain!— & so it seemed quite apt to show you the photos and other details, from our wedding day.
WARNING: Image heavy!
Save The Date
We had a DIY, we’re-gonna-do-this-ourselves ethic right from the start. We’re both very creative people and can create something special when we put our minds to it! So in July last year, we spent one sunny Sunday afternoon, taking hundreds of photos to get this one shot! Who would’ve thought it’d be so hard? Does that look okay? Should we be more central? Should we zoom in a bit? Should we look at each other?! SO many questions ensued, but we eventually got our shot, and after some photoshopping from yours truly, we sent the image off to Moo and go them printed as business cards to send out to friends and family, with a little message on the back that invites would follow shortly.
I’m not sure if Save The Dates are more of an American tradition, because some of our guests just. Did. Not. Get. It. We had people asking when and where it was, RSVPing to it like it was the invite, and all sorts!

The Invite Pack
Our venue wasn’t particularly local to anyone (because we’re awkward like that), so we put together a little info pack for everyone. First up a business card from Moo with a photo of the Eiffel Tower moments after Ashley proposed and on the other side the invite details. We used a heart hole-punch and ribbon to tie this to a piece of card (within our theme of nude, pink, lilac & ivory), plus a double-sided postcard with all the info anyone could ever need, ever!

The Day!
I won’t bore you with the details from our day— partly because it was such a whirlwind(!), but also because I think you can gather everything you need from this selection of photos from the lovely Eleanor. As I’m sure you can imagine, it’s tough choosing someone to do something for you, that you normally do for other people yourself, but Eleanor did an amazing job with the photography & we’re overjoyed with the results! These photos are just a small collection of the final batch. I’ve found it so hard to cut down to just these as I want to share them all, but we’ve decided the photos are for us. So much so, we’re not even Facebooking them (yet!)

I wish I could do it all again!
