Myself & Ashley treated ourselves & some of his bandmates to an immense round of bacon and egg sandwiches with tiger bread this morning, after they crashed on our sofa last night after a gig in North London— so good! They’re off to play an all-dayer in Brighton today, so I’ve been left to my own devices to play-about in the sunshine.

I decided to wash my car and it was so ridiculously hot and sunny out, that I didn’t want to go back into our flat— which turns into a greenhouse at this time of year— so I grabbed my camera, a bottle of ice-cold water and my iPod and took my car for a spin up to Reigate Hill. It turns out a few other people had the same idea too! We only have a small garden area at our place, which is right outside our neighbours door— they’re nice people, but I feel a bit awkward setting up camp there, so we’re pretty lucky that there are so many places within easy reach for us to laze about in.
I really have the urge to sunbathe, but I don’t want to risk any strap marks, pre-wedding. I’m having a spray tan, but being a fake-tan-virgin, I don’t know how good it will be at evening out patches, so I’m not taking any chances, and instead I’m wearing strapless tops everytime I’m out in the sun, for the next three weeks!

I took a drive to Dorking afterwards, singing my heart out to the radio, with my windows down. Lush! Although I can hear thunder in the distance now, so I’m just waiting for the storm— after all, it wouldn’t be a British Bank Holiday without some wet weather would it?!
What are your plans for the rest of the Bank Holiday weekend?
