Thanks For Ruining Christmas, UO

Miraculously, I’d done all my Christmas shopping before December, this year. Or so I thought. I ordered a few things (including my boyfriend’s main present) from Urban Outfitters a whole month before Christmas and two weeks later it still hadn’t arrived, even though it had apparently been despatched. I phoned their “customer service” helpine and the weasel I spoke to, said he was sending a message to Head Office to find out where it was, as we were speaking and someone would ring me the next day between 9am and 3pm. Now, I don’t know if he sent it via carrier pigeon or put it in a bottle to float it’s way to their office, but it took 72 hours to arrive. And after less than 24hrs of them “searching” for my order, they’ve refunded me, with no explanation or phone call. It takes 3-5 days for the money to appear back in my account, which barely gives me any time to re-order before the Christmas cut-off period.

So, thank you Urban Outfitters for providing a shit service. You’re now on my hit list, right under o2. They’re only allowing me to upgrade to boring phones that I don’t want, (even though I’ve been a loyal customer for 4 years) because I won’t budge from my cushty 12 month contract to an 18 month one.

It’s a good thing I had a good weekend, or they would’ve totally killed my Christmas spirit!
