Byron’s First Birthday Celebrations!

Byron’s first birthday celebrations ended up being a small(ish!) family affair for a few hours, although naturally, I managed to take hundreds of photos (and these are just a small snippet— which has reminded me of the backlog of photos I have to back-up and print to put into albums!) There was obligatory old school party food: quiche; chicken; party rings; sausage rolls; crisps & dips, plus the birthday cake (made by yours truly) and lots of present opening. I love that B seems to actually enjoy the presents, rather than the wrapping paper and/or box! I think we’ll be starting party games next year, when we have a toddler on our hands. A TODDLER. Jeez.
