The Week In Notes • #003

001. What a nightmare week! Hopefully you’ll already have read my last post about my blog being hacked, which explains the lack of posts in recent days. I’m having to do some rearranging in my diary to fit all the posts in that I’d planned. I’ve also had a nightmare this week with two MASSIVE spiders in my flat, which is not cool. Even writing the ‘s’ word freaks me out a bit. The worst one was above my window at 6:30am when it was just me and Byron. Everyone I was texting out of fear (oh, the fear) were telling me to suck it up with the vacuum, but I was convinced it was too strong and robust, so my neighbour came to my rescue with a spider-catcher and flung it out the window (which I still feel a bit weird opening, even now!) I’d like to do something about my arachnophobia, but I know it usually results in you holding a tarantula, and I just don’t think that’s right. I’m not at one with nature!

002.
I had the most amazing pulled pork sandwich last week, in Sainsburys Cafe, of all places! Glamourous, eh? Myself, my mum and sister were abusing the 25% off TU Clothing and grabbed Byron some bits, seeing as he’s going up a clothes size now. My mum also bought him a bongo (above) which he loves! And yep, that is Byron dressed as Where’s Wally. The stripey vest with blue trim was unintentional, but the hat and glasses were at the request of my sister and I just can’t resist dressing him up!

003. Byron’s room is almost done now! I’m so excited. And the sooner, the better— we have loads of junk in the hallway that’s in limbo (including a suitcase full of handbags ready for the charity shop!) and I have a massive aversion to mess, since going through nesting with Byron. It’s stuck to me like glue!
