I turned 21 a few weeks ago & I’ve been photographing my life ever since, with a photo a day. It’s the kind of project that I’ve wanted to start for a long time, but I’ve not felt like there was a significant enough time to do so, until now. I’m not sure how long I’ll do it for, but it’s a documentation of the beginning of my journey through ‘adulthood’. You can follow my journey on flickr!

I’ve discovered some amazing photographers on Flickr this week, both of whom are only 14! You can’t put an age limit on talent. If you only do one more thing before you sign off the internet today, you have to see the work of Elle & Chrissie White.

If you’re reading this from New York, then try & get involved with Improv Everywhere. Their latest stunt involved creating a human mirror of twins on the subway. Watch the videos, it’s hilarious!

London is usually a wonderful & cultural place, but sometimes living here scares me. Something has got to be done about knife-crime. Did you know, that currently hospitals don’t have to report any patients who have been stabbed (like they do with gunshot wounds), to the police? I would’ve thought that’d be standard procedure by now! My prayers are with all the friends & family of those teenagers (the current count is 20 & rising) that have been violently killed in London since January.

On a lighter note, I should have my Canon 450d in about 10 days. Say cheese!

I’ve had a spring clean at aimeemarie.com & have added some new images to my portfolio.

What have you been doing this week?
