If you’re an organisation freak like me, then you’ll love a to-do list. Teux Deux is an amazing website designed by Swissmiss that simply allows you to list your tasks & cross them off when they’re done!  And anything you don’t complete (tut tut!) will carry over to the next day.  There’s even a section for tasks that just need to be completed ‘some day’.  Nothing will beat my trust Moleskine, but I love the easy, sleek design of this!  There’s even an iPhone app coming soon, for you iPhone-addicts out there too!

Hyperbole and a Half. You have to read this.  It’s literally awesome.

“Should I Separate My Blog & Portfolio?” is a question answered by Nubby Twiglet & was a question I asked myself many times, before I decided to just go for it!…

…And “Do you tell other people about your blog?” is a subject I’ve often pondered too.  Corrine from Frock & Roll always provides a good read!

Snippet & Ink is a lovely little wedding blog, with a massive directory of links to other wedding-related gems.  I’m obsessed!

Sometimes, I wish I could high five Sarah Von.

Friends of Type is lush, if you’re a bit of a typo-nerd like me!  This is a great source of inspiration, particularly when I’m creating my own wedding invites!

With my obsession for organisation, each blog I follow on my Google Reader has a tag, e.g. fashion, beauty, food, art, DIY etc— but my fav of all, has to be my ‘regulars’ list, with so many blogs about a variety of subjects, with new, constantly updated content! It’s no wonder time flies by when I’m on the internet.

So, here are my current Top 10 blogs (& a few reasons why they should be yours too!)

  • Eleanor Jane // Amazing Welsh photographer Eleanor Jane produces dreamy, grainy images.
  • Cupcakes & Cherries // Wanna read about beauty products? Daisy’s your girl.
  • Afeitar // Helen loves to bake, read & buy pretty dresses. If you do too, you’ll love her!
  • Cupcakes and Mace // Ace jewellery designer Kim writes about work, life & fun in between.
  • Gallivant // Poppy may have pink hair, but she’s not all glitter & unicorns— girl’s got opinions!
  • Kris Atomic // Kris’ posts are few & far between, but her illustrations are totally worth the wait.
  • Lick My Cupcakes // Em is the kind of girl you want to be your best friend. Read her interview!
  • Oh Fab // As well as being a great dresser, Nikki is an awe-inspiringly-talented, witty writer.
  • Terminal 12 // Kate is one of my oldest mates, who documents her life in words & photos.
  • Sarah Kane // One of my fav photographers, shoots beautiful, crisp & clear images.

Who would be in your Top 10?!

I haven’t managed to make a post like this in 6 (!) months, so I have a huge backlog of fun & inspiring posts & websites from around the world to share with you. Here are some of my most recent favourites!

Bloggers: The Independent Fashion Bloggers ask, how has your blog evolved? Have you kept doing whatever it is that made you start blogging in the first place, or has your niche changed?

Fab girly o’pinkness Lisa Clark, has two new book out in the Lola Love series. Go buy!

I need to live here. I think Ms Lick My Cupcakes would be visiting all the time too! This is the place that dreams are made of— although I’m not too sure how the boyshape would like living in a Kitty Mansion.

For the ultimate chic in discount shopping, check out The Outnet. 70% off a pair of Roberto Cavalli sunglasses? Yes please!

Who knew that a ratty black tee could look so good? I need a rotary club slasher! This is when deconstruction’s good…

…& when deconstruction is bad: no, Urban Outfitters. Just. No.

If you want a gorgeous desktop wallpaper, icon, or even wallpaper for your iPhone, checkout Totally Severe! Sarah Horton creates images with love.

Ever wondered how you can get that smoke in your photos? Lighting Mods tell us how— & it’s so easy!

Help make a living portrait of the UK. I absolutely love installations like this!

Lola Pop have the cutest bows & accessories! The Cherry Bomb earring are to die for.

Disastrid.net is the portfolio of performing artist, Astrid. I haven’t seen anything like this in a long time– it’s so refreshing to see something personal on the internet that isn’t just a blog.

Grab a little piece of Paris from Miss Sugar Cane! Why is it the Eiffel Tower looks so good as a piece of jewellery?

Say cheese! Polaroid could be making a comeback soon! I hope this works out.

Kris Kendal was one of the first illustrators I came across on the web years & years ago, so I’m really glad she has a blog now! Add her to your Google Reader & see her cute creations regularly! And make sure you vote for her designs on Threadless too.

Do you love theme parks? You might think you do, but you don’t– not as much as this guy. I was jobhunting, when I first found The Theme Park Guy– he wanted someone to come to Tenerife with him, to photograph him in front of a water park, all expenses paid! From what I can see, he just goes around the world visiting theme parks & having a good time. Check it out!

We may have celebrated the New Year already, but there’s hundreds of days in 2009 to go, so cut out these specs by Viktor & Rolf, & wear them with pride! (& a little insanity.)

Like gold? Check out Jennine’s collage at The Coveted. Even if you currently prefer silver, this baby could convert you!

The very talented Matthew Gray Gubler talks favourite pyjamas & mistmatching socks, with Mademoiselle Robot!

Vegan Yum Yum make Mac & Cheese, minus the cheese & yet it still looks delicious!

Taking part in a 365 project this year? Me too! Check out some of my amazing flickr contacts who are doing the same: Gala, Hayley & Eleanor Jane, plus a million groups you can search through for inspiration.

Family Portrait by Miss Loisy is amazing too!

Andreas Laszlo Konrath
As a British born photographer, now living in Brooklyn, Konrath takes amazing and often emotional portraits of youth related activities and the people that surround him everyday. I’m not usually a fan of black and white (his main medium), but these portraits are really successful. This photo (left) is taken from his series, “English Kills”.

Amy Illustration
This girl creates seriously cute images, reminiscent of childhood scribbles. Nothing looks quite as it should- the humans aren’t quite human-looking, with their big noses and distorted limbs, but the animals have been personified, drinking cups of tea and eating hot-dogs! Love it.

Matt Stuart
This guy has the best natural eye for the hilarious. There are no words to explain these photos, just have a look for yourself!

Moon-Jazz
Lens based artist Leah, is curious about identity, history and theatre. Her photos are dream-like, obscure and leave you pondering the people, situations and ideas behind them. Her photography primarily reflects her own identity, tather than the subject, but that’s what makes them so fabulous.

Love Fots
The blog of a girl that I don’t know too much about, but I do know that I love this blog. She writes about anything, from photography to personal shout outs, to dodgy tattoos!

Wants For Sale
This is one of those amazing concepts, that when you come across if, you kick yourself, wondering “Why didn’t I think of that?!” This couple paint simple pictures of things that they want, sell them for the price of the real item, then use the money to go out and buy that thing! So far they’ve painted a picture of an iPhone and sold it for $432.42 to buy the real thing, a beer, a bikini, steak and many many many more, along with picture evidence of each purchase! You can currently get your mitts on a photo of some Mets tickets for them for a mere $597.50(!), or my personal favourite, “Charles Saatchi to buy this painting” for instant street cred (left). Hopefully he will!

Inner City Snail
If you ever see a snail with a painted shell in London, it’s probably down to these guys. This is a street art project with a twist. They paint slogans or stick mini-signs on their shells, take a photo & leave them to roam the streets. That’s pretty much it. It’s simple, but funny to look at! These guys also do some other macro-style photography with miniatures. You can find the link on their blog.

On My Desk
This is like porn for the interior design geek. Here, creative people share their deskpace with the world wide web. A fantastic source of inspiration!
